Monroe Elementary School
BELFOR recovered and restored Monroe Elementary School in Ohio after vandals ransacked and damaged the interior.
Well before the school bell rang in the early hours of Monday morning, vandals broke into a back door of Monroe Elementary and ransacked the property. When school staff and administration arrived at 7 a.m., they were not prepared for what they discovered.
“We were overwhelmed with the disaster we found.”

The thieves did extensive damage to the interior of the school: offices, classrooms, fixtures, teaching equipment, computer monitors and televisions destroyed; classroom windows and glass display cases shattered; book shelves in the library turned over; damaged vending machines; kitchen refrigerators and freezers left open, spoiling food supplies; and, soap, hand sanitizers, shaving cream and salad dressing sprayed on floors, walls and desks throughout the school.
“Our experience with BELFOR was a pleasant one and I would highly recommend them to work on future school projects. We were also thankful the claim team for the Ohio School Plan had pre-positioned a disaster recovery company we could trust.”
