Regional Technical Service Center

BELFOR Fort Worth is the company’s largest Regional Technical Service Center specializing in document and media recovery, semiconductor decontamination, and electronics and machinery decontamination and repair.

Centrally located in the heart of the country and near DFW Airport, BELFOR Fort Worth serves as a distribution center for all U.S. BELFOR offices and home to the National Technical Services team.

The Technical Service Center sits on six acres and has 40,000 square feet of warehouse/office space plus 30,000 square feet of parking space for a large fleet of BELFOR mobile warehouses, trucks, and Mobile Command Centers.

National Technical Services

The BELFOR National Technical Services Team specializes in electronics restoration, equipment and machinery decontamination and restoration, semiconductor tool and facility decontamination, and document and media recovery.

The National Technical Services Team travels around the world to help assess and manage large recovery projects. The team, consisting of electrical and mechanical engineers as well as highly-trained certified technicians, has responded to some of the largest natural disasters in history.

Document Recovery Lab

The facility also has the most sophisticated Document Laboratory in the industry with three large capacity stationary freeze-dry chambers, two mobile freeze-dry chambers, refrigerated trucks and refrigerated storage units.

The document recovery lab is staffed by the most experienced document technicians in the country. Almost all of the restoration techniques are performed in-house using proprietary practices and protocols. All of our document technicians receive special training including HIPAA awareness training.

The document lab in Fort Worth has strict security measures including secured access, video monitoring, safety alarms, fencing and more.

Semiconductor Tool Decontamination

The center has also been expanded to handle a large volume of semiconductor tool decontamination projects with three cleanroom facilities and a secure staging area.

BELFOR can provide parts decontamination, single tool decontamination, and full wafer fab decommissioning, including assessment and/or decontamination of all equipment and tools.

All semiconductor decontamination services are performed with the SEMI S12 – Environmental, Health and Safety Guideline for Manufacturing Equipment Decontamination in mind. BELFOR was instrumental in serving as co-author for the latest version of this guideline.

To keep all projects safe and secure, the Technical Service Center has a state-of-the-art security system including:

• Interior and exterior motion detecting security cameras with a 3-month internal recording capacity and ability to expand, download, or backup as needed.
• Ability to monitor all cameras via internet or mobile device.
• All exterior doors and select interior doors are outfitted with keypad entry control. Only authorized personnel with unique security codes can enter various areas. System date stamps are recorded noting specific person, date, and time for all entry and exit through these doors.
