Wreath made from cookie cutters

Craft instructions

Turn old cookie cutters into a festive wreath! With this creative DIY project, you can conjure up a unique decoration for the Advent season from simple kitchen utensils. Ideal for anyone who wants to combine tradition with a touch of nostalgia and creativity.

What you need
  • Cookie cutters (at least 10-12, depending on the size of the wreath)
  • Hot glue gun
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Optional: Small fir branches or other decorative elements
How to make it
  1. Arrange the cookie cutters in a circle so that they touch at the edges and form a wreath shape. Make sure that the circle is even.
  2. Use the hot glue gun to fix each cookie cutter shape to the next shape at the points where they touch. Allow the glue to dry completely so that the wreath is stable.
  3. Cut a long piece of ribbon and attach it to the top of the wreath as a hanger. Make a large bow from another piece of ribbon and stick it anywhere on the wreath for decoration.
  4. Optional: Add small fir branches or other decorations by carefully inserting them between the cookie cutters or attaching them with glue. Small bows can also be attached to various parts of the wreath to decorate it further.
